SWIFT Hackathon 2026 Finalist Scaling Digital Assets Through Standards

TradeEnabler Selected as a SWIFT Hackathon 2026 Finalist

Recognized for Governance Before Settlement, a standards-based approach to tokenized securities, real-world assets, deposit tokens, and institutional digital asset adoption.

Finalist Recognition

TradeEnabler is proud to be selected for the SWIFT Hackathon 2026 final stage.

TradeEnabler was selected as a finalist in the SWIFT Hackathon 2026, focused on scaling digital assets through standards and helping shape the next phase of institutional digital asset adoption.

Our finalist solution, Governance Before Settlement, addresses one of the central questions in tokenized finance: who is authorized to receive, custody, redistribute, and reconcile a tokenized financial instrument before settlement occurs?

The model applies SWIFT RMA-style relationship governance, BIC and LEI identity, wallet authorization, issuer policy, and ISO 20022 Securities alignment to tokenized securities, real-world assets, brokered deposits, and deposit tokens.

Why This Matters

Digital assets need standards, not only faster rails.

Blockchain can move value quickly, but regulated finance also needs privacy, legal accountability, role clarity, issuer controls, custody rights, and reconciliation between on-chain execution and off-chain records.

TradeEnabler abstracts blockchain complexity for bankers by embedding governance-driven oracle functions into standards-based workflows. Banks should be able to use tokenized securities, real-world assets, and deposit tokens through the tools and operating models they already understand.

True institutional decentralized finance is not ungoverned finance. It is governed, auditable, SWIFT-connected financial participation across tokenized assets, deposit tokens, and real-world asset settlement.

Operating Model

Governance is checked before value moves.

The Wallet Oracle validates whether a wallet is authorized for the transaction role. The Governance Oracle validates country, asset, issuer, jurisdiction, custody, and policy rules. Notary Nodes evidence the authentication, wallet ownership, issuer policy, and pre-settlement validation outcomes.

Wallet-to-BIC and Wallet-to-LEI

Wallet identity is linked to verified institutional or legal-entity identity before it can be used in tokenized settlement.

Issuer-Authenticated Governance

Token policy, holder eligibility, transfer conditions, and redemption rules are validated before settlement.

On-Chain and Off-Chain Reconciliation

Blockchain execution is connected to legal ownership, custody, and ISO 20022-aligned settlement records.

Standards Alignment

Designed for the securities business model.

The finalist solution focuses on how tokenized securities and real-world assets can align with established market roles and lifecycle events. It proposes enrichments to support wallet authorization, counterparty authentication, issuer policy, jurisdictional eligibility, custody rights, pre-settlement governance attestation, and reconciliation.
